*(Schedules are subject to change based on the number of Basic and Self-Hypnosis 101 classes that take place prior to the April and June dates.)

Tuition is due 21 days prior to beginning Module I if the student chooses to pay full tuition or 21 days prior to each module if the student chooses to make three separate payments.

Each module consists of 53-54 hours of training, taught on two consecutive weekends or over four consecutive days.

Note:  Books and materials have been around $100.00 per course.  All books and materials required for a class will be available the first day of class at their current retail price.  Students may check with the Institute just prior to the class to prepay or to determine the exact cost of books and materials for that class.

REFUND POLICY:

The registration fee is separate from tuition costs and goes towards staff consultations necessary to processing a students application for course work.  The registration fee is non-refundable.

Students who pay full tuition (for all three modules) in advance and who cancel their contract (including students who are not accepted into the program) by notifying the Institute within three business days of making payment are entitled to a full refund of all tuition and materials fees paid.  To protect the student, they must follow up their notification to cancel with a written and signed request for their refund.  The student may cancel their contract with CHI-Montana at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after signing the contract.  This general procedure also applies to students paying for one modules at a time.

Students who withdraw after three business days of making payment, but before the start of classes, are entitled to a refund of tuition and materials fees minus a cancellation fee of $150.00 (not to exceed $150.00 or 25% of the contract price, whichever is less).  The student must submit a written and signed request for a refund following notification of intent to withdraw.  This also applies to students paying for one module at a time.

In the case of students withdrawing after classes start, the Institute will retain the cancellation fee of $150.00, the cost of books and materials plus a percentage of tuition and fees, which is based on the percentage of the program attended by the student, as described in the table below.    For refund purposes, attending any part of a module will be considered the same as attending the entire module.  All refunds will be made within 30 days from the termination date.  Students paying for one module at a time will not receive a refund if they cancel after classes begin for that module.

Students will receive a full refund of tuition and fees paid if the Institute discontinues a class/module.

ATTENDANCE POLICIES:

Students are required to attend the entire training session, which means being on time and staying until the session requirements are completed.  Any time missed must be made up , either by attending a future scheduled class, or by arranging private instruction with your instructor.  Private instruction will result in additional fees negotiated with your instructor.  It is greatly appreciated, if you are late or cannot make a session of training, that you communicate with the Institute as soon as you know you will have to miss any time in your course of instruction.

The instructor may request your withdrawal from a course or program if excessive absences or tardiness is resulting in unsatisfactory progress.  Students who are unable to continue classes for medical reasons or severe personal problems will be required to take a leave of absence until they are able to return to class.  Proper documentation will be required.  Refunds will not be made unless the student formally withdraws from the Institute's program.  If a refund is requested, the policies above will apply regardless of reasons.

CONDUCT POLICY:

All students are expected to behave in a mature, kind and respectful manner towards staff, fellow students and Institute property.  Any student who behaves in a way that is unsafe or distracting to other students and their progress, who is under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants, or who fails to make timely tuition payments is subject to dismissal from the Institute.  Instructors may choose to temporarily suspend a student whose conduct is disruptive or inappropriate in the academic setting.  After appropriate counseling or other corrective action is taken, students demonstrating a genuine desire to return to their course of study and conform to the Institute's standards of conduct may be allowed to resume attendance.  The director will review each such case personally to determine the desired course of action.

LICENSING:

Currently, there are no states which license hypnotherapists.  The profession of hypnotherapy is regulated through organizations like the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association, The National Guild of Hypnotherapists, and the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners.  Students of CHI-Montana are eligible for certification through any and all of these organizations, but will automatically become certified through the IMDHA upon graduation from our program.

FACILITIES:

CHI-Montana offices are located at 707 Highland Street, Helena, Montana 59601.  The course modules will be taught in locations best suited to our purposes and numbers.  Our intention is to offer courses in venues that both meet our needs for space and focus and accommodate the student best in terms of location.  Ideally, we plan to enjoy local hotels, resorts or some of Montana's wonderful hot springs, such as Boulder Hot Springs or White Suffer Springs, for our training locations.  If a group of students (5 or more) enrolls together, then classes can be taught in or around their city of origin.
